The University of Melbourne is committed to enabling a safe, inclusive and respectful community.
The Safer Community Program operates as the University’s central point of inquiry and reporting of inappropriate, concerning and threatening behaviour, and offers a respectful and confidential place to seek support and advice.
What we do
The Safer Community Program provides advice and support to members of the University community about their safety.
We help people who have experienced inappropriate, concerning or threatening behaviour, including:
Child safety concerns should also be reported to the Safer Community Program.
Based on a conversation with you, our team can assist you to:
- Ensure your safety on campus
- Access University and external support services
- Report an incident to the University and/or Victoria Police.
